Competitively antagonizes histamine H2 receptors on gastric parietal cells, suppressing gastric acid secretion. Inhibits both basal and stimulated secretion, raising intragastric pH.
主な副作用

便秘、下痢、頭痛、めまい、倦怠感。まれに血小板減少、肝機能障害。

禁忌

本剤の成分に対し過敏症の既往歴のある患者。重篤な腎障害のある患者は用量調整が必要。
