ヒスタミンH1受容体を拮抗し、アレルギー症状を抑制します。第一世代抗ヒスタミン薬であり、血液脳関門を容易に通過するため、強い鎮静作用・催眠作用を有します。

禁忌

閉塞隅角緑内障の患者。前立腺肥大による排尿困難のある患者。本剤の成分に対し過敏症の既往歴のある患者。
